Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how WearAI Hub ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit wearaihub.pages.dev (the "Site"). We are committed to being transparent about our data practices and to giving you meaningful control over your information. This policy is written in plain English — no buried clauses, no legalese designed to confuse you.

By using this Site, you agree to the practices described below. If you don't agree with any part of this policy, please don't use the Site. We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.

1. Information We Collect

We collect as little information as possible. Specifically:

Information You Provide Directly

If you email us at theowner4747@gmail.com, we receive the email address, name (if provided), and message content you choose to share. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry and do not add you to any marketing list — we don't have a marketing list because we don't run a newsletter.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our analytics provider (currently Google Analytics) and hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) collect the following non-identifying information automatically:

  • Pages you visit and the order in which you visit them
  • Approximate geographic location (country/region level — derived from IP address)
  • Referring website (how you arrived at the Site)
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type (e.g., iPhone, desktop Windows)
  • Anonymous session identifiers that expire when you close your browser

We do not collect: your name, email address (unless you email us), physical address, phone number, precise location, browsing history on other sites, or any information that could identify you personally — unless you voluntarily provide it.

Cookie-Based Information

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, described in detail in Section 3 below. We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking, behavioral advertising profiles, or retargeting.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following limited purposes:

  • Site analytics: To understand which articles are read, which products are clicked, and how visitors find us. This helps us decide what to write next and which products to test.
  • Affiliate tracking: When you click an Amazon affiliate link, Amazon sets a cookie on your browser to credit us with any resulting sale. This cookie is governed by Amazon's Privacy Policy, not ours — we don't have access to it.
  • Display advertising: Our ad partners (currently Google AdSense) may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google's Ads Settings page.
  • Responding to inquiries: If you email us, we use your email address to reply. We retain email correspondence for up to 12 months for quality assurance, then delete it.
  • Site security and abuse prevention: Cloudflare may collect limited data to protect the Site from bots, scrapers, and abuse.

We do not use your information to: build a profile for sale to third parties, target you with emails (we don't have a newsletter), sell personal data to anyone, or share data with social media platforms for ad targeting.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses the following cookies and tracking technologies:

You can disable cookies in your browser settings without breaking the Site — you'll just lose theme persistence and see less-relevant ads. Most modern browsers also support "Do Not Track" signals, which we respect where technically feasible.

4. Third-Party Services

The Site integrates with the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

We do not share any data with third parties beyond what's strictly necessary for the services listed above to function. We have no data-sharing agreements with social media platforms, data brokers, or advertising networks beyond Google AdSense.

5. Your Rights — GDPR (EU/UK Users)

If you're located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act:

  • Right of access: You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): You can ask us to delete your personal data.
  • Right to restrict processing: You can ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Right to object: You can object to our processing of your data for specific purposes.
  • Right to data portability: You can request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to withdraw consent: You can withdraw consent for any processing based on consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at theowner4747@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Your Rights — CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)

If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you additional rights:

  • Right to know: You can ask what personal information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
  • Right to delete: You can ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale: We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. No opt-out is necessary because no sale or sharing occurs.
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not treat you differently for exercising any privacy rights.

To submit a request, email theowner4747@gmail.com with "CCPA Request" in the subject line. We'll verify your identity before responding.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect any information we hold. The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Cloudflare provides DDoS protection and bot mitigation. Email correspondence is stored in encrypted email infrastructure. We do not store payment card information on our servers — Amazon handles all transactions, and we never see your card details.

No system is 100% secure. If we experience a data breach that affects your personal information, we'll notify affected users and relevant regulators within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by GDPR Article 33.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly. The products we review are consumer electronics intended for adults; we don't cover products specifically marketed to children.

9. International Users

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer. We apply the protections described in this policy to all users regardless of location.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes (e.g., new categories of data we collect, new purposes for use), we'll also post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.
